the origin story

I didn’t know what to get my brother and his fiancée as a wedding gift. I wanted something custom. Personal. Not another cutting board.

Then I thought—wouldn’t it be cool to make a book filled with words of wisdom from the people who love them most?

But I’m much too weird to be interviewing my newly-minted extended family and I am absolutely not the person who’s going to organize a bunch of people to record heartfelt memories.

So—I built something that let AI do the heavy lifting for me.

Their friends and family called a number, shared stories, roasts, and toasts. AI pulled out the best parts—quotes, inside jokes, even a few moments that made us all cry. Then I turned it into a one-of-a-kind book. When they opened it, they laughed. They cried. They passed it around the room.

That’s when I realized: This is the best wedding gift I’ve ever given. And honestly - everyone should have one.

That is why I made the Toast Book.
